Electric Universe Plasma Physics has (re)Unified the Field.
Reading René Guénon and watching Electric Universe Thunderbolts Project videos is like having the sun rise over the universe carrying a bag full of Post-it notes, pen in hand; one can affix a general or specific term to things once thought to dwell only in the farthest reaches of ones private imagination.
I once read that an editor systematised Aristotle’s work by placing physics books before his ontological work, calling the latter metaphysics; literally ‘after the physics’.
Metaphysics can be described as “Opening up truly unlimited possibilities of conception, and, as such can in no wise be contained within […] any system whatsoever. Fundamentally, a system is nothing but a closed conception […] naturally determined by the ‘mental horizon’ of the author. But all systemisation is absolutely impossible. This is […] because metaphysics is essentially knowledge of the Universal, and such knowledge does not permit of being enclosed within any formula, however comprehensive.” - René Guénon
In 1975, a physicist named Fritjof Capra published a book called The Tao of Physics: An Exploration on the Parallels Between Modern Physics and Eastern Mysticism. Describing his motivation Capra said; “Science does not need mysticism and mysticism does not need science. But man needs both.” He struggled to reconcile theoretical physics and Eastern mysticism, and was helped by “power plants and psychedelic drugs”.
When Capra was discussing his ideas with Werner Heisenberg, (Nobel Prize winning theoretical and quantum physicist) in Munich in 1972, Heisenberg said he already knew of the parallels. Heisenberg had been in India to work on quantum theory and was a guest of Rabindranath Tagore, also known as ‘The Bard of Bengal,’ an Indian polymath and the first non-European to win a Nobel Prize for Literature.
Tagore and Heisenberg talked about Indian philosophy and Heisenberg realised an entire culture subscribed to very similar ideas while Niels Bohr had the same experience when he went to China — suggesting the West had lost something vital.

Realisation of God is the supreme goal of every traditional religion and/or spiritual philosophy with an intact metaphysic doctrine and is technically available to all by virtue of birth into the human state. The Vedanta (generally translated as the ‘end goal of knowledge’) is one of the world’s most ancient spiritual philosophies, describing knowledge of God as infinite existence, infinite consciousness, and infinite bliss.
Guénon gives the etymology of the word ‘Veda’ in Man and His Becoming; “The root vid, from which Veda and vidya are derived, bears the twofold meaning of seeing and knowing (as in the Greek οίδα [I saw]): sight is taken as a symbol of knowledge because [the eye] is the chief instrument within the sensible order; and this symbolism is carried even into the purely intellectual realm, where knowledge is likened to ‘inward vision’, as is implied by the use of such words as intuition for example.”
Now.
Sunbathing one morning in November 2022, reading Guénon’s Man and His Becoming, thoroughly ignorant of the man called Fritjof Capra and his book on The Physics of the Tao, I was struck by a bolt from the clear blue sky; there is a firm — in fact unmistakable — connection between many significant aspects of the Thunderbolts Project plasma physics model, and the metaphysics of the Vedanta.
I started laughing then at the complex simplicity of the universe; the plasmic rope tying me to the sun and charging me up as I read, had struck me with information too.
Sheaths for example, are spoken of in the Vedanta as extensions of the subtle body.
One can send their imaginative soul up in to the warmed plasma while sunbathing similar to the way a bird rides thermal updrafts in spring. These sheaths are also known as integrated individuality, and are capable of indefinite extension. Thus we are tied to the sun, and to the planets electromagnetic ropes or currents.
From experience these extensions of the subtle body can be psychically recognised in at least three ways; the first as a plasmic rope or umbilical cord during absolute spiritual death; accompanying one to hell like a strange, rubbery rope of Ariadne.
The second is as intertwining sheathes allowing for “astral travel” (so-called), and thirdly a divine golden spotlight during the most intense period of Realisation.
The second two forms of extension could be further described as glass elevator shafts for the soul, and all three are necessarily oversimplified due to language limitations.

A more common idea is the ida and pingala, two currents moving subtle energy up and down the spine. The Yin-Yang is a cross-sectional symbol of virtual currents and the caduceus represents these two complementary functions as well. Mythically, an interpreter or messenger of the gods ascends and descends to earth — a psychopomp or guide which travels up through various states of existence. Any way one imagines the energy, it flows up and down and in and out along generally invisible lines.
Donald E. Scott, a stellar member of the Electric Universe group talks about ‘lotus-shaped concentric sheaths of current’ in the Aurora Borealis/Australis poles. Earth’s auroras are charged through Birkeland currents flowing from the sun through a distance of 93million miles. The current travels both ways in, out — up, down.
The thousand petalled lotus also happens to be an oriental expression of illumination.
The longest Birkeland current (Bc) recorded so far is c.5,000 light years. I don’t know if it neatly stops, or maybe it ‘goes dark’ and continues indefinitely — perhaps technical equipment could only record to that distance. Regardless, it may not qualify as the sheath’s indefinite extension per se, but 5,000 light years is not insignificant.
The late and great Wal Thornhill, from EU Thunderbolts Project correctly predicted in the early 2000’s that helically twisted filament pairs would be found all through the visible universe when the technology got up to speed. He knew, and was proved right because it’s the way plasma self-organises with electric current set through it.
One of Gerard Pollack’s Electric Universe weather-related experiments in the lab ran a live current through “fourth stage” water. The water in its visibly liquid state made a literal water bridge between two beakers — held together by an electrical charge.
Paradoxically, Thornhill, Scott and Pollack’s work illustrates visible, physical modes of interstellar/molecular energy, but also its intangibility and invisibility.
Spirit winks, waves and smiles, rising from the crushing weight of materialist systemisation. By intuiting the electric nature of the universe, Wal Thornhill, Don Scott and the fearless, brilliant minds in the Electric Universe Thunderbolts group found the physics of metaphysics, and I daresay have (re-)unified the field.
