I knew my food producers really well, including the beefy couple who raised a rare Scottish breed, they were good friends in Australia and always saved me bones and liver. I still miss their faces and chatter every farmers market, rain, hail or shine. It made for such an easy, pure-hearted, no-strings relationship.
That's one long procedure to stay healthy, I was exhausted just reading it. No wonder most time-constrained people go straight for the quick toxic band-aid fix – which usually results in further problems later – just the way the medical system likes it.
Precisely. 'Time is money' as they say. It's a fundamental-values choice. I'd do holistic dentist if I was in a career position - but then, I wouldn't have had the time to do the research, so... I guess I'd end up with a root canal or titanium tooth and a surprise breast cancer diagnosis in five years.
As for the procedure, they also say, 'It's only effort until it's routine.'
You're welcome! And I've literally just finished a buttered piece with Cervia, delicious as always. Here it is in full:
2 cups of vegetables like daikon radish, carrots & celery or courgettes, peeled, roughly cut then chopped finely in the food processor to start off with. They're the base.
3 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
3 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
5 egg yolks (I learned the recipe from an AIP paleo page and never reintroduced egg whites)
3 Tablespoons of chia seed
2 Tablespoons of broth-cooked rice to bulk it up, but it's not necessary
All this gets blended to a liquid, the finer the better. To complete the raw dough:
5 heaped Tablespoons of Banana flour (this is a prebiotic with a lovely savoury nutty taste made from green bananas, not at all sweet)
5 heaped Tablespoons of Arrowroot or tapioca flour
3 level teaspoons of baking powder
Blend thoroughly. It should be just slightly runny and start to move when poured on to a greased or lined tray; too runny add more flour, too stiff add a splash of broth.
Help the dough on to its tray with a spatula and bake for 33 minutes at 180°. (Ye gods - even my recipes have esoterica in them.)
It stores for up to four or five days in the fridge for toasting at will, brilliant for sandwiches but only on the first day like usual bread. Freezes okay if neurotically wrapped to avoid freezer burn.
Yes by all means use the whole egg. You'd only need three in that case, two might even do it.
I guess if greens were involved... yes, I suppose kale might work if steamed and squeezed dry first to break down the cellulose... might be good with some hard cheese actually. Really - cabbage bread? I would love to know if you made it. It might be alright with a handful of caraway seeds in the mix... Please let me know if you experiment?
I know you're encouraging all to remineralize and heal teeth with your amazing ideas. In the off chance that you MUST go to the dentist for an emergency, you might try this technique to rid the Novocain of nanotech and graphene. Just found it today.
Thank you m'darlin'... :) That was extremely interesting. A friend of my husbands went to the dentist a few months ago and 'got sick with covid' two weeks later. The junk in those things is revolting and clearly unnecessary.
Going to the freezer for humanely raised beef bones...
My mother will not thank me later, but she'll make soup with my bone broth. When I'm gone.
Bless you, the beasts and the children.

this hotly anticipated post lived up to the promise!! Cross-posted, was not cross, was delighted to read ;-)

Glad I checked it out, nice job
Thanks. :)
My pleasure, it was an excellent write up.
If you see something in my substack thats blatantly BS please let me know
'K. Hope you'll do the same for me.
Mum had very bad bone density issues and it showed in her teeth and spine so I need to be reading this more thoroughly when I'm on rnr.
Thanks
Thank you for your insight into remineralization of teeth.
You're very welcome. :)
This is SO GOOD! Thank you for re-orienting me to natural dentistry. Your experience is hard won!
Tell me.....what’s your fave paleo bread recipe M’Dear? 😀

Cheerio!
I SO want to invite myself to your house for tea and paleo bread and esoterica chat! Oh, and of course that lovely salty bone broth recipe. Eeegads!
Delving in to that lovely recipe, I've got a few questions for you, m'dear.
Could I use the whole egg if I wanted?
Could I use green goodie like kale, cabbage or the like as well as the carrots, celery, etc?
Yes by all means use the whole egg. You'd only need three in that case, two might even do it.
